Check in: 1.00 PM / Check out time: 11.00 AM

Meal rate per person:  Breakfast: 500 + GST,   Lunch / Dinner: 1000 + GST.                                                                                

Charges for cake: 1 kg - Rs. 800 + 18% GST (as per availability)

Honeymoon arrangements:   Standard rate: Rs. 2000 + 18% GST (fruit basket & flower arrangement in room). The rate is subject to change in case of modified / new requirements.

Candle light dinner: Rs.2000 + 18% GST

Mandatory X’mas Eve Supplement: Rs. 2000 + 18% GST per person

New Year Eve Supplement: Rs. 2000 + 18% GST per person

Photo Shoot: 

Duration: 5 hours – Rs.5000 + 18% GST; Additional hours – Rs.1500/- per hour (no room)

Banquet venue charges.

Rent for various banquet venues without catering services by the property.

  • Pre -function hall requirement exceeding 3 hours will be charged at extra hours.
  • Lawn will be free for the use of in-house guests, as open air restaurant, but if it is used for other exclusive functions, usual charges as specified in B (3) will be applied.  If catering service is outsourced, full lawn rent has to be levied.

Difference of hall charges to be billed.

                                                     GST: 18% extra.
  • Charges are waived if the above catering sale is guaranteed.
  • External catering shall not be allowed for Government functions and hall rent    is to be charged if no food/ beverages are availed.

 

Cancellation policy applicable to KTDC properties with effect from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2027

For OTA's / KTDC Online module / Direct Bookings / Travel agents (FIT)

From 1st April to 19th December & from 6th January to 31st March:

  • Cancellations made 72 hours prior to the scheduled check-in time will not incur any cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled check-in time will result in the forfeiture of advance equivalent to one night’s applicable tariff for the total number of rooms booked.
  • Non-arrival on the scheduled date will be considered as "no-show" and the full advance will be forfeited.

From 20th December to 5th January & Onam / Diwali / Pooja Holidays:

  • Cancellations made 14 days prior to the scheduled check-in date will not incur any cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled check-in date will result in the forfeiture of advance equivalent to one night’s applicable tariff for the total number of rooms booked.
  • No-show: Full advance will be forfeited.

Applicable only for:
Samudra, Golden Peak, Suvasam, Water Scapes, Periyar House, Aranya Nivas, Lake Palace, Tea County, Bolgatty Palace.

Onam / Diwali / Pooja Holidays - 2026-2027:

  • Onam Holidays: 22nd to 29th August 2026
  • Pooja Holidays: 17th to 24th October 2026
  • Diwali Holidays: 8th to 14th November 2026

Note: This policy does not apply to KTDC Packages.

Day Rates
  1. Duration of stay for day rates: 8 hours between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
    • Day rate: Rs. 4,000/- + GST for single and double occupancy
    • Extra person: 20% of the day rate
    • Extra hours: Rs. 250/- + GST (permitted for a maximum of 2 hours)
    • Amenities provided: As usual (room supplies & giveaways)
    • Category of room: Base category
  2. Duration of stay for day rates: 6 hours between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
    • Day rate: Rs. 3,500/- + GST for single and double occupancy
    • Extra person: 20% of the day rate
    • Extra hours: Rs. 250/- + GST (permitted for a maximum of 2 hours)
    • Amenities provided: As usual (room supplies & giveaways)
    • Category of room: Base category

Check-In / Check-Out Times

Permission is granted to offer 24 hours check-in /check-out for the walk–in’s/direct reservations as per availability though the check-out time be kept as 11:00 AM / and the check-in time as 1:00 PM in the KTDC online platform /OTA’s.
