Kollam during Portuguese occupation was known as Quilon. With the warm waters of the Arabian Sea on its west, the present day city of Kollam was earlier famous for cashew processing and coir manufacturing. It is the southern gateway to the backwaters of Kerala and is a major tourist destination.

a. From 1 st April to 20 th December & from 6 th January to 31 st March:
- Cancellations made 72 hours prior to the scheduled check-in time will not incur any cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled check-in time will result in the forfeiture of advance equivalent to one night's applicable tariff for the total number of rooms booked.
- Non arrival on the scheduled date will be considered as "no-show" and the full advance will be forfeited.
b. From 21 st December to 5 th of January & Onam/Diwali/ Pooja Holidays
- Cancellations made 14 days prior to the scheduled check-in date will not incur any cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled check-in date will result in the forfeiture of advance equivalent to one night's applicable tariff for the total number of rooms booked.
- ***No-show, full advance will be forfeited.
Onam/Diwali/ Pooja Holidays - 2025- 2026:
- Onam Holidays: 2nd September to 8th September 2025
- Pooja Holidays: 28th September to 8th October 2025
- Diwali Holidays: 18th October to 28th October 2025
